DESCARTES OCEAN NAMES HEWITT HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Descartes Systems Group has named Sheila Hewitt to lead business development for Descartes Ocean, which provides solutions for the ocean shipping market, including shipper rate and contract management.
Hewitt, who will be based at the company's Atlanta office, was director of international trade logistics for G-Log. A 22-year industry veteran, she previously worked for 10 years in sales and operation with DSL Transportation, and directing logistics operations for Cluett, Peabody & Co., and Oxford Industries Inc., two apparel companies.
