Descartes unveils upgrades to logistics software
Descartes System Group Inc. said Tuesday it has released new, enhanced versions of its software packages for logistics management activities.
Descartes said it has enhanced its trademarked Delivery Management and Global Logistics Network suites, which are software packages bundled into groups for types of logistics management activities.
The new releases will help customers with fleet management, contract carrier management, visibility and event management, logistics messaging and rate management, upgrading existing technology used by customers.
'We have continued to make significant investments in solution development over the last year,' said Arthur Mesher, chief executive officer of Waterloo, Ontario-based Descartes.
