DESCARTES, VANDA EXPAND SERVICES IN CHINA
The Descartes Systems Group Inc., based in Waterloo, Ontario, a provider of online logistics solutions, and Vanda Systems & Communications Holdings Ltd., a technology solutions provider in China, have agreed to expand their marketing alliance announced in June.
Descartes and DigiLogistics.com, a Vanda subsidiary based in Hong Kong, will offer postal and logistics solutions within China.
William Chan, chief executive officer of DigiLogistics.com, said the expansion was “a natural progression of our relationship” with Descartes.
“One of our joint initiatives is to help the State Post Bureau of China create a collaborative logistics exchange,” said Thomas Sandor, vice president of postal markets at Descartes.
