DF Young opens office in Port Adelaide, Australia
DF Young, a 101-year-old provider of forwarding and logistics services, has opened an office in Port Adelaide, Australia, and appointed Daniel S. Osborne as its general manager there.
'Port Adelaide is emerging as a premier port with the recent announcement of a high-tech container examination facility, expected to be fully operational in early 2005,' DF Young said in a statement.
A. Wesley Wyatt, president and chief executive officer of DF Young, based in Jersey City, N.J., said the new office was 'a strategic move' that 'supports our presence in the Indian and South Pacific Oceans, which is a very important region for our clients.'
