DHL NAMES EXECUTIVES UNDER REALIGNED BUSINESS STRATEGY
DHL Worldwide Express will realign its regional business operations and consolidate its field activity to restructure the staff of its Mexico operation.
DHL has named Rafael Couttolenc regional director of the “northern cone” which includes Mexico, Central America, Andean countries and the Caribbean. He will be responsible for strategies focusing on industry trends, free trade agreements, global express logistics and electronic commerce opportunities. Couttolenc, who joined DHL in 1994, will be based in DHL's South Florida Office.
DHL has named Mario Sotres country manager of Mexico, replacing Couttolenc at that post. Sotres, who also joined the company in 1994, will be responsible for all DHL operations in Mexico.
DHL is an international air express carrier.
