DHS to lose technology official
Penrose Albright has resigned as assistant secretary for programs, plans and budgets in the Science and Technology Directorate, the Department of Homeland Security said. No departure date has been set.
Albright served in his current position since October 2003. He previously worked on technology research and development issues at the White House’s Office of Homeland Security and led the transition planning to create the Science and Technology Directorate as the new DHS was formed.
