DOT CANCELS PUBLIC MEETINGS ON HAZMAT HANDLING
The U.S. Department of Transportation's Research and Special Programs Administration has canceled two public meetings schedules to address the applicability of regulations covering the loading, unloading and storage of hazardous materials.
The RSPA had originally postponed a meeting scheduled for Sept. 14 in Washington. The agency has since canceled a public meeting scheduled for Oct. 30 in Diamond Bar, Calif., and the Sept. 14 meeting will not be rescheduled.
