DREYER’S SIGNS CLICKLOGISTICS FOR PILOT PROGRAM
Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, which makes and distributes premium ice creams, has contracted with Clicklogistics, a Boston-based provider of technology and management services, for a trial program to handle inbound logistics.
Dreyer’s will use Clicklogistics Online, the provider’s web-native transportation management system, at a plant in Union City, Calif.
“We needed a better way to control our transportation costs,” said Jeff Stites, logistics director for Dreyer’s.
“The fact that Clicklogistics’ application is hosted means we won’t strain our own IT resources,” Stites explained.
