Dyrbye named CEO of Hansa Heavy Lift

   Hansa Heavy Lift, based in Hamburg, Germany, has named Tomas Dyrbye, former group senior vice president at AP Moeller-Maersk, as its chief executive officer, effective Aug. 1.
   Dyrbye, a 30-year maritime industry veteran, succeeds Roger Iliffe, who will join the Hansa board. Prior to this appointment, Dyrbye served as CEO of Safmarine, a unit of AP Moeller-Maersk.
   Hansa, a subsidiary of investment firm Oaktree, started operations on June 1, 2011. The company specializes in the transport of oversized and project cargoes. It took delivery of the vessels HHL Kobe in March and Prima Dora in May.
