DYVIK APPOINTED CEO OF WALLENIUS WILHELMSEN
Wallenius Wilhelmsen has appointed a new president and chief executive officer, Nils Petter Dyvik, effective from November.
Dyvik, who is deputy CEO of Wilh. Wilhelmsen, one of the two parent companies of the 50/50 joint venture Wallenius Wilhelmsen, will succeed Ingar Skaug.
As previously announced, Skaug will leave Wallenius Wilhelmsen to become group chief executive of Wilh. Wilhelmsen.
Dyvik has a long experience in the car and roll-on/roll-off
transportation business, both from his present position at Wilh. Wilhelmsen and previously as president of NAL, before its merger with Wilhelmsen Lines.
Christer Olsson has been re-appointed chairman of the board of Wallenius Wilhelmsen, for a period of three years.
Wallenius Wilhelmsen provides ocean transportation, logistics management and land-based services. It has about 2,900 employees worldwide.
