Eby named FRA deputy administrator
U.S. Secretary of Transportation Norman Y. Mineta has appointed Clifford C. Eby as deputy administrator for the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA).
Eby will oversee day-to-day administrative operations and be responsible for the agency's rail financial assistance programs.
Eby was senior vice president for Parsons Corp., a California-based engineering and construction firm involved in transportation projects, including freight and passenger rail. He has also been director of finance and statistics for the Association of American Railroads in Washington, D.C.
