ECONOCARIBE, LCL GROUP FORM EXCLUSIVE AGENCY AGREEMENT
Econocaribe Consolidators, a non-vessel-operating common carrier in Miami, has formed an exclusive agency agreement with the LCL Group of India.
LCL Group will use Econocaribe’s network to provide less-than-containerload freight service to Latin America and the Caribbean, reducing the NVO’s transit times by three to four weeks.
Econocaribe will use LCL Group’s India network to provide:
* Direct Miami consolidations to Mumbia and Chennai on a weekly basis.
* Freight collect acceptance to all major Indian markets.
* Transit time reductions of three to four weeks.
* Online tracking.
* Sea-air and air-sea transport options.
Econocaribe recommends that freight forwarders and shippers should plan LCL freight moves to India three months in advance of delivery dates.
