ECS ADDS SALERNO CALL TO MED/ASIA LINK
Express Container Service will add a direct eastbound call at Salerno, in southern Italy, in February.
The Asia/Mediterranean container shipping line said the Salerno call will not impact its 20-day transit time from Trieste, in northern Italy, to Asia. The service will call at Shanghai, Chiwan. Hong Kong, Trieste, Salerno and Hong Kong.
ECS recently introduced direct calls at Shanghai and at Hong Kong, adding a sixth containership to the service.
