EDMONDS IS RE-APPOINTED CHAIRMAN OF PORT OF HOUSTON AUTHORITY
James T. Edmonds, chairman of the Port of Houston Authority Commission, was re-appointed to a second two-year term by a vote of the combined members of the Houston City Council and the Harris County Board of Commissioners.
Edmonds, who joined the port as a commissioner in 1996, was appointed chairman in June 2000.
Port commissioners of the port of Houston serve a two-year term without pay.
Edmonds is also president of Edmonds and Co., a consultancy firm in organization, business development, marketing and regulatory compliance.
