EMERY OPENS DISTRIBUTION HUB IN HONG KONG
Emery Forwarding, part of the CNF Inc.’s Menlo Worldwide logistics group, has opened a new logistics center in Fotan, Hong Kong.
Emery, which is in the process of changing its name to Menlo Worldwide Forwarding, said the new distribution center gives customers easy access to China. Emery has operated in Hong Kong for 40 years.
The 33,000-square-foot facility includes climate-controlled storage for temperature and moisture sensitive products, caged storage with digital security locks and closed circuit TV monitoring for high-value goods, Web-based package tracking, infra-red burglar alarm systems and antidust epoxy flooring.
