EMERY WINS CLARKS SHOES CONTRACT
Clarks Shoes, a global distributor of footwear, has contracted with Emery Worldwide to provide transportation, customs brokerage and distribution services in New Zealand.
Emery will move goods via air from Clarks’ Melbourne, Australia, facility to Auckland, New Zealand, for distribution throughout the country. Emery will deconsolidate shipments at Auckland airport, pick and pack orders, manage inventory and deliver shoes to retailers.
The new logistics contract builds on an existing relationship. Emery already handles Clarks’ raw materials exports from Australia, finished goods imports to Australia and finished goods exports to New Zealand. Emery has operated offices in New Zealand since 1965.
