EMERY WORLDWIDE NAMES VANDENPLAS AS GM FOR BELGIUM, LUXEMBOURG
Emery Worldwide, based in Redwood City, Calif., an air and ocean freight subsidiary of CNF Inc., has appointed Andreas Vandenplas as general manager for Belgium and Luxembourg. He will have responsibility for sales, finance, accounting, ocean forwarding activities, and general operations in both countries.
An Emery employee since 1972, Vandenplas was manager of the company’s European training center. In his new job, he will report to Rob Bongaerts, division manager for northern Europe.
