EMIRATES LAUNCHES FLIGHTS TO HYDERABAD, INDIA
Emirates has launched eight weekly flights to the Indian city of Hyderabad, using brand new Airbus A330-200s.
The aircraft offer 13 tons of cargo capacity per flight, with a full passenger load.
Emirates said the flights will target export cargoes, particularly fruit and vegetable products to the Gulf, Mideast and Europe, as well as locally produced chemicals and pharmaceuticals. Hyderabad will also act as a gateway for Central and East Indian cities for both imports and exports for Emirates worldwide destinations, the Dubai-based airline said.
Emirates now offers 37 flights per week between Dubai and India.
Flights departing Dubai at 3:15 a.m. on Mondays Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays arrive in Hyderabad at 8:25 a.m. The return flights leave Hyderabad at 9:50 a.m. and arrive back in Dubai at noon.
Flights departing Dubai at 10:15 p.mn. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays arrive at Hyderabad at 3:15 a.m. the next day. The return flight departs Hyderabad at 4:40 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays touching down at Dubai at 6:50 a.m.
