EMIRATES TO FLY DAILY FROM DUBAI TO DUSSELDORF
Emirates, the Dubai-based airline, will begin daily service for passengers and cargo between Dubai and Dusseldorf, Germany today.
“This new service takes Emirates into the heartland of German industry and commerce,” said Peter Sedgley, general manager, commercial cargo operations. “We already have customers there who are served using a road feeder service to and from Frankfurt.”
Emirates will use Airbus A310-300 aircraft, offering 10 tons of cargo capacity with a full passenger load.
Sedgley said the expansion of service would help boost Emirates SkyCargo, the airline’s air freight division.
