essDOCs opens Shanghai office

The paperless trade solutions provider opened an office in Shanghai, marking its first office in the Chinese market.

Paperless trade solutions provider essDOCS has opened an office in Shanghai, marking its first office in the Chinese market.
“Opening an office in the mainland has been a core priority for us due to the swift growth in the use of CargoDocs in China over the past two years” essDOCS CEO Alexander Goulandris said in a statement. “China continues to dominate global trade and we see our office there as central to providing a locally-responsive presence that supports Chinese customer success and improves local understanding of the far-reaching benefits of paperless trade.”
The company appointed Raymond Sham as the vice president of the Shanghai office, who will also oversee future expansion within the country. He most recently worked at mining conglomerate BHP Billiton in Hong Kong and China.
The Shanghai office represents essDOCS’ eighth global office and its third location in the Asia-Pacific.
