Europe/South America carriers alter bunker adjustment factor
Members of the European/South Pacific & Magellan Freight Conference, a carrier group in the Europe/West Coast of South America trade, said they will amend their bunker surcharges in May.
The revised bunker adjustment factor will be $147 per 20-foot-container, $294 per 40-foot-container and $7 per freight ton.
European/South Pacific & Magellan Freight Conference carriers are CMA CGM, Compania Sud Americana deVapores, Hamburg Sud, Hapag-Lloyd, “K” Line and P&O Nedlloyd.
