EUROPEAN CARRIERS ADD CAPACITY TO ROTTERDAM/BRITISH ISLES TRADE
Geest North Sea Line and NorfolkLine have added capacity to their respective services between the port of Rotterdam and the British Isles.
Geest North Sea Line has upgraded to eight weekly sailings (one daily and two on Saturday) its service between Rotterdam and Hull, in northern England.
NorfolkLine, a subsidiary of the A.P. Moller group, has deployed its second, large vessel on the route between Rotterdam and Waterford, in Ireland. The “Maersk Westland” and sister vessel can carry 45-foot-long containers and have a capacity of 630 TEUs.
