EVA Air adds freighter capacity
Taiwanese carrier EVA Air will convert a leased MD-11 passenger aircraft to a freighter configuration next year, according to aircraft owner GE Capital Aviation Services. The freighter will enter service in August.
EVA Air operates 14 freighters, including 10 MD-11s.
Stamford, Conn.-based GE Capital Aviation Services has a fleet of about 65 leased freighters.
