EVERGREEN CHRISTENS FIRST OF FIVE NEW SHIPS
Taiwan's Evergreen Group has christened the first of five new 6,332-TEU E-type vessels.
The new ships will be the largest in Evergreen's fleet with an overall length of 300 meters and a beam of 42.8 meters. They are able to carry containers 17 abreast on deck and 15 abreast below. The E-type ships have a service speed of 25 knots.
