iContainers names director of sales and operations of its Barcelona office; and ShipServ appoints senior vice president, business development.
Online freight forwarder iContainers named Carlos del Corral director of sales and operations of its Barcelona office. Del Corral started his professional career in 1998 at the maritime operations department of logistics firm Servicios Logísticos Integrados in Madrid. After UTI Worldwide acquired the company, he became UTI’s operating controller of Spain. In 2006, he transferred to UTI New York, where he led the team dedicated to strategic clients, and in 2011, he returned to Spain, where he held a management position on the UTI global team. Del Corral is also the founder of Soilnetworks, a consulting and technological solutions company for supply chains.
Maritime e-procurement platform ShipServ appointed Henrik Hyldahn to serve as senior vice president, business development. Hyldahn will work out of the company’s Copenhagen office. Prior to joining ShipServ, Hyldahn served as chief information officer at global maritime services group Seven Seas, and before that, he held the role of managing director at technical and strategic consultancy CUBISOL. He has also held senior roles at Coca-Cola, the Carlsberg Group and the Eitzen Group.
