Executive Moves: Port of Longview, DP World Group, ShipHawk and Port of Houston Authority

Port of Longview appoints interim CEO and DP World Group’s CEO retires, while ShipHawk names chief revenue officer and the Port of Houston Authority reappoints commissioner.

   The Port of Longview has appointed Norm Krehbiel, currently chief operating officer, as interim chief executive officer. Krehbiel joined the port in 1993 as director of facilities and engineers and was later named deputy executive director and COO in 2008. He replaces former Port of Longview CEO Geir Kalhagen who was released by the board earlier this month.

   DP World Group Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Sharaf has retired. He served as the terminal operator’s group CEO for 11 years. The company is currently searching for a successor.

   ShipHawk, a provider of shipping technology and intelligence for online retailers, has named Sharon Goldstein chief revenue officer. Prior to joining ShipHawk, she served as an advisor to the company. She also worked as executive-in-residence at XSeed Capital, a Silicon Valley-based seed fund, and before that held management positions at Pixlee, Shutterfly, Photobucket, RealNetworks and Accenture.

   John D. Kennedy was reappointed to the port commission of the Port of Houston Authority. He had served 27 years in the Army and as city manager for Nassau Bay, Texas. Kennedy is chairman of the port commission’s Procurement and Small Business Development Task Force.
