project44 makes additions to its sales and engineering teams, and Worldwide Express hires chief technology officer.

   project44, a Chicago-based provider of web-service application program interfaces (APIs) for the freight industry, has made additions to its sales and engineering teams.
   Dan Kirsche has been named vice president of engineering. Kirsche has a product and engineering background spanning over 15 years. Prior to joining project44, he worked for Groupon from 2013-2017, holding the position of director of software engineering.
   Mitch Kowalewski has been named senior vice president of strategic accounts. Kowalewski has a diverse background that includes cross-border supply chain management, intermodal and truckload. He most recently served as vice president of enterprise sales at Transplace.
   John Rattay has been named vice president of business development. Rattay spent five years at Trax Technologies, where he held the role of vice president of sales and account management.
   Mikael Trapper has been named vice president of business development. Trapper, who has nearly a decade of industry and sales experience, was a former vice president of sales at BridgeNet Solutions.

   Worldwide Express, a Dallas-based third-party logistics provider, hired Dolly Wagner-Wilkins as chief technology officer. Wagner-Wilkins, who has 28 years of experience, has directed software delivery programs and worked with global airline and travel agency customers in a variety of technology and marketing capacities during her career. Prior to joining Worldwide Express, she held high-level positions at Sabre, a technology provider to the global travel industry.
