Executive Moves: Rand Logistics, DHL Express, Gulf Winds International and Park City Group

Rand Logistics names VP of procurement, DHL Express in Africa appoints managing director of Sub-Saharan Africa and Texas Trucking Association selects Intermodal Committee chairman, while Park City Group names CFO.

   Great Lakes bulk carrier Rand Logistics has named Christopher J. Garwood corporate vice president of procurement. Prior to joining Rand Logistics, he was senior director of global strategic sourcing and energy procurement at Cliffs Natural Resources.

   Hennie Heymans has been appointed managing director of DHL Express Sub-Saharan Africa, effective Oct. 1. He was previously managing director of DHL Express South Africa. He succeeds Charles Brewer, who is now building a new African e-commerce venture as part of the Mara Group. Heymans joined DHL Express in 2001.

   B.J. Tarver, chief operating officer of third party logistics provider Gulf Winds International, has been appointed chairman of the Texas Trucking Association’s new Intermodal Committee.

   Park City Group, a cloud-based software company for retailers and their suppliers, has named Todd Mitchell chief financial officer. Mitchell, who has succeeded Ed Clissold as CFO, was most recently director of research at Brean Capital. Clissold will continue as Park City’s general counsel.
