EXEL ATTRACTS $350 MILLION IN ADDITIONAL BUSINESS

   Exel, the United Kingdom-based global logistics provider, reported that it has attracted $350 million in new business in 2002.

   Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and The Scotts Co. are among the companies that have selected Exel as their lead logistics provider.

   “Our ability to provide integrated solutions which combine Exel’s contract logistics and freight management has played an integral role in transforming supply chains for several organizations,” said Bruce Edwards, Exel’s divisional chief executive, consumer, retail, healthcare for the Americas.
