EXEL GROWS PARTNERSHIP WITH SEMI-CONDUCTOR MANUFACTURER
Exel said it has revised a multimillion-dollar contract with International Rectifier, a semi-conductor manufacturer, which calls for integrated services for distribution in the United States, including overnight and second-day shipments of imported goods.
Exel staffs two customer support centers for IR in Los Angeles and San Diego.
'We have a growing relationship with International Rectifier that began on the international side of our business and has not expanded into transportation,' said Danny Estrada, director of gateway operations for Exel.
Exel, based in the United Kingdom, provides supply chain management services for manufacturing and retail industries.
