Exel implements e-booking interface
Exel Global Logistics has implemented GF-X’s “host-to-host” air cargo electronic booking interface.
GF-X, an air cargo portal, said the host-to-host facility enables users to initiate and complete booking transactions directly from their operating system without having to access a Web browser.
“This is a key step in fully automating the end-to-end process between Exel and our carrier partners. Our users will no longer have to waste time switching between different systems and will be able to spend more time with our clients,” said Ole Ringheim, senior vice president global air freight of Exel.
