Exel opens office in Uruguay for ôSouth ConeÆ business
Exel, a U.K.-based provider of supply management and logistics services, has opened an office in Montevideo, Uruguay. The new facility 'will serve current and potential customers with operations in the South Cone region, encompassing Brazil, Argentina and Chile, Exel said in a statement.
'Exel's presence in Uruguay supports the final piece of the puzzle for the company in the South Cone logistics corridor,' said Humberto Florez, Exel's senior vice president, Latin America.
The company said that Marcelo de Leon will be its country manager for Uruguay.
