Exel tests RFID tags for Selfridges
Selfridges, a U.K. retailer specializing in designer clothes and luxury foods, has contracted with Exel, a U.K.-based provider of logistics services, for a trial of radio frequency identification (RFID) tags.
Exel will test the tags by tracking inbound and outbound movements of 120 food temperature-controlled containers from a distribution center in West Midlands.
