EXPORTS UP, IMPORTS DOWN AT LE HAVRE
The latest container traffic figures posted by Le Havre show that exports increased 12.1 percent while imports were down 1.4 percent for the month of July compared to the same month last year.
Outbound traffic for July was 69,918 TEUs, up from 62,087 TEUs last year. Inbound volume was 69,619 TEUs, down from 70,602 in the same month last year.
Total throughput for the seven months of the year so far was 882,974 TEUs compared to 850,384 TEUs for the same period last year, an increase of 3.8 percent.
