FEDEX CUSTOM CRITICAL CEO TO RETIRE
R. Bruce Simpson said he will retire as president and chief executive officer of FedEx Custom Critical, effective June 15, and will be succeeded by John G. “Jack” Pickard.
Pickard is vice president of service and chief information officer and has near 30 years of transportation experience. He joined the company in 1986 and has served as a vice president since 1989, holding positions in sales, marketing and operations. Pickard also serves on the FedEx Custom Critical board.
Simpson joined the company in 1982 as director of sales, after a long career with the former Republic Steel Corp.
