FEDEX ENTERS PACT WITH NETHERLANDS ANTILLES POST
FedEx Express's Latin America and Caribbean division has entered into a business agreement to allow the sale of its services through the Post Nederlandse Antillen N.V. (Netherlands Antilles Post), network in Curacao.
As part of the agreement, eight Netherlands Antilles Post outlets will e designated as FedEx Authorized ShipCenters, providing customers with access to FedEx's time-definite services. The deal may be expanded into other markets, FedEx said.
The Netherlands Antilles Post has been a government-owned limited corporation since 1998. It operates nine postal outlets in Curacao, five on St. Maarten, two on Bonaire, one on St. Eustatius and one on Saba. The post also provides international service to and from South America, the Caribbean, Europe and North America.
FedEx Express' Latin America and Caribbean division, based in Miami, is a subsidiary of FedEx Corp., the express giant.
