Financial reporting problems jeopardize World Air Nasdaq listing
The Nasdaq stock exchange has given World Air Holdings Inc. until Dec. 15 to file an amended quarterly report with the Securities and Exchange Commission or be delisted from the exchange.
The Peachtree, Ga.-based company operates World Airways, a charter cargo and passenger airline. World Air is late filing a form related to its acquisition of passenger carrier North American Airlines and its third quarter report, and has not updated its quarterly report for the period ending June 30.
World Air said it is working to meet the Nasdaq requirements, but can’t guarantee that it will meet the deadline.
