FKI Logistex nets $22 million Army-Air Force contract
St. Louis-based FKI Logistex said Wednesday it has secured a $22 million deal with the Army & Air Force Exchange Service to upgrade the material handling system at the company’s Dan Daniel distribution center, near Newport News, Va.
The contract calls for FKI to install cross-docking equipment, a shipping sorter and a new conveyor system. Work is scheduled for completion in fall 2006.
