FMC RECEIVES 21 APPLICATIONS FOR OTI LICENSES

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 21 applications for ocean transportation intermediary licenses for non-vessel-operating common carriers and ocean freight forwarders.

   Applicants for OTI licenses as NVOCCS are: R&R Shipping Inc., Staten Island, N.Y.; Ketras Cargo USA Inc., Miami; Palumbo USA Miami Inc., Miami; Seabound freight Inc., Miami; Newkor America Inc., Los Angeles; Global Alliance Logistics (L.A.) Inc., Inglewood, Calif.; Unico Logistics Inc., Jamaica, N.Y.; Key International Group Inc., Long Beach, Calif.; Leric Inc., New Orleans; Royal Cargo Line Inc., Miami; Trans Logistics Inc., Carson, Calif.; and ABCO International Freight (USA) Inc., Inglewood, Calif.

   Applicants for OTI licenses as NVOCC and ocean freight forwarder are: Transtar Navigation (USA) Inc., South San Francisco, Calif.; Hepta Run Inc., Houston; Bayanihan Cargo International Inc., San Francisco; and Load Group International Inc., Miami.
