FMC to review 17 OTI license applications

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 17 ocean transportation intermediary license applications for review.

   The agency received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Boston Shipping Enterprises, Brooklyn, N.Y. (Hugh Boston, president); DVN Carriers, Bellaire, Texas (C. Rider Griwold, limited partner); TUG New York, Valley Stream, N.Y. (Robert Hslang Lin Wu, president); Sunitrans Logistics Private Ltd., Mumbai, India (Changaram Ramesh Santosh, chairman/president); Ocean & Sky International Freight A Partnership, Las Vegas (Sophann Chum, owner); and President Container Line, Los Angeles (Chang-Yeh Tsai, president).

   The FMC received NVO-ocean freight forwarder license applications from ZLN North America, Norfolk, Va. (Tommy Stramer, chief executive officer); Atlas Logistics (USA), Middleburg Heights, Ohio (Edward M. Zarefoss, owner); Affordable Global Shipping, Houston (Vivian No Nsonma Iheonye, general manager); and America’s Cargo Logistics, Floral Park, N.Y. (William A. Nichols, president).

   The agency received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Sunshine Service International, Jamaica, N.Y. (Maia Stoichkov, owner); Embarques Colonial Corp., Miami (Daisy Lantigua, president); Savitas Express, Pomona, Calif. (Peiyu Huang, president); Globaltransol, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. (Eric K. Gnakadja, president); Awilda Shipping Corp., Corona, N.Y. (Jesucito Parra, supervisor); Arrow Worldwide, Tacoma, Wash. (Virginia Casto, member); and Journey Moving and Storage Corp., East Brunswick, N.J. (Doreen Dragin, president).
