Former MOL executive Doi promotes port of Charleston in Japan
The South Carolina State Ports Authority has appointed former Mitsui O.S.K. Lines sales executive, Yukio “Yogi” Doi, as its new Japan sales representative, replacing the retiring Ryuzo “Bob” Nakada.
Doi was previously executive director of Shosen Mitsui Ferry Co., a passenger and roll-on/roll-off cargo shipping line. Prior to that, Doi had a 30-year career with MOL, where he served as a marketing and sales executive and as general manager.
Doi will be based in Tokyo, and will be responsible for marketing the port of Charleston to shippers and ocean carriers throughout Japan.
