Fraser River port handled record number of vehicles
Canada’s Fraser River port said 4,936 automobiles were unloaded over the Easter holidays, a new record for discharging cars from a single ship at the port.
The Mitsui O.S.K. Lines-operated pure car carrier “Liberty Ace”, carrying new Mazda, Toyota, Lexus, Mitsubishi and Suzuki automobiles, was unloaded over March 28-29 for distribution to various Canadian destinations.
Fraser River port imported 436,931 vehicles in 2004.
