FREIGHTEK ACQUIRES EXITT
Freightek Inc. the developer of global trade and supply chain software, said it will acquire Exitt Inc., an application service provider of customs brokerage and freight forwarding software.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition marks the second by Freightek in eight months. The Dresher, Pa.-based company acquired Theta Systems Inc. of Landsdale, Pa. In June, 2001, and formed the Theta Systems Division, which specializes in customs brokerage and freight forwarding solutions.
