European over-the-road transportation provider Freightex has been folded into Coyote Logistics, as parent UPS expands its services across the continent.
European over-the-road transportation provider Freightex has rebranded itself as Coyote Logistics.
Freightex, founded in Dover, U.K. in 2001, was acquired by UPS in January 2017. The purchase came two years after UPS acquired Coyote Logistics in August 2015. The acquisition of Freightex helped establish both UPS and Coyote’s presence in the growing European third-party logistics market, UPS said.
“As Coyote Logistics expands into Europe, we will do so as a single, unified brand,” said Coyote President Jonathan Sisler in a statement.
