G-LOG, OPTUM FORM STRATEGIC PARTERSHIP
G-Log (Global Logistics Technologies, Inc.), based in Shelton, Conn., a provider of e-commerce software solutions, said on Monday that it had begun a strategic partnership with Optum, Inc., based in White Plains, N.Y., a provider of real-time fulfillment for commerce platforms and e-marketplaces.
Optum’s Tradestream technology, in conjunction with G-Log’s GC3 software, will provide an Internet solution allowing clients to manage the flow of orders and inventory while goods are in transit, according to Scott Zahn, vice president for business development at Optum.
“The result is a seamless logistics platform,” said Jerry Overcash, G-Log’s senior vice president for field operations.
