G-Log releases updated trade management software
G-Log, a provider of logistics and transportation technology, said it has released version 4.5 of its G Log Global Command and Control Center (GC3) software.
The new release adds 40 new features to the GC3 system and offers expanded inventory and international trade management functionality.
The new version, a single system that can manage an entire logistics network across multiple modes, business units, and geographies, is particularly useful for companies with complex logistics processes.
'Powered by a single instance of the software, Exel can provide customers with a consolidated view of freight flows and detailed stock-level inventory, as well as transportation management alerts,' said Martin Neil, vice president of global solutions for Exel, a U.K.-based logistics provider.
G-Log is based in Shelton, Conn.
