G-LOG TEAMS WITH B2B MARKETPLACE DEVELOPER
Global Logistics Technologies Inc., the Connecticut-based online logistics software maker, has teamed with Consolidated Commerce, a developer of online business-to-business marketplaces, to integrate global logistics execution into B2B exchanges.
The agreement comes after G-Log has formed similar partnerships with companies, such as ShipChem.com, SupplyLinks Inc. and Logistics Gateway Inc., active in other digital logistics sectors. G-Log is providing its online logistics management system to these companies and to Consolidated Commerce to boost sales in all areas of B2B e-commerce.
Consolidated Commerce sells a B2B marketplace software suite that is designed to allow companies to manage transactions and optimize their supply chains through online collaboration. Its product “supports and integrates collaborative procurement and order management, and enables fulfillment and shipping optimization,” the company said.
G-Log will allow Consolidated marketplace users to “continuously and dynamically plan and manage global, multimodal, multicarrier shipments while freight is in transit.”
