GEOLOGISTICS NAMES FLYNN PRESIDENT, CEO
GeoLogistics Corp., the North American non-asset-based logistics company, has named William J. Flynn president and chief executive officer of the company, effective August 1.
Flynn will succeed Robert Arovas, president and CEO since 1999, who is leading the company to pursue other interests.
Flynn has been senior vice president, merchandise group for CSX Transportation, CSX Corp.'s railroad unit. Prior to CSX, he held various positions in a 23-year career with Sea-Land Service Inc., including five years in various positions with Sea-Land in Asia, including service as vice president for the Asian region prior to the sale of Sea-Land to Maersk.
GeoLogistics is based in Santa Ana, Calif.
