GeoLogistics obtains class A forwarder’s license in China
Santa Anna, Calif.-headquartered GeoLogistics Corp. has received a “class A” forwarder’s license from China’s Ministry of Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation in Beijing for its international freight forwarding operations in China.
The class A license allows GeoLogistics to book freight space directly with carriers and to expand its international logistics business generated from within China.
The company said the new license “paves the way for further development by GeoLogistics in China,” positioning it as one of a limited number of international logistics companies with its own operational network in China.
GeoLogistics has been operating in the Asia Pacific region for more than 50 years, where it currently employs a total of more than 2,700 professionals in 72 offices, it said.
