GF-X reaches booking milestone for Asia, Middle East
GF-X, the London-based technology company specializing in electronic bookings for the air cargo industry, said its participating carriers and forwarders its Asia Pacific and Middle East regions are using GF-X for more than half their bookings.
GF-X provides a neutral booking platform for forwarders and carriers. Participating customers include many of the largest global forwarders and international airlines, as well as regional forwarders and carriers.
GF-X also said Soren Starup would step down as vice president for Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Starup headed product development in the region for the last two years.
GF-X managing director Demetrios Zoppos said Jeremy Young, who has been based in Hong Kong for the last five years, would be taking over as the head of the Asia Pacific region.
